The company offers three levels of coverage for cats and dogs.

The first option for cats is the Vet Select. In this cover, your pet has an annual benefit of $25,000 worth of treatments and vet bills. This cover is also the highest level cat cover with a reimbursement rate of up to 100% for a pet over eight weeks of age and pets younger than eight years old. However, if your pet is older than eight years old, you will only have a refund of up to 65% yearly.

Inclusions for the Vet Select are accidental injuries, illnesses, cruciate ligament treatment capped at $4,000 per policy year, emergency boarding capped at $500 yearly, routine care, and alternative therapies.

For the Cat Cover, your pet gets an annual benefit of $3,000 to $6,000 for accidental injuries and illnesses. Refunds will also go up to 80% worth of eligible vet bills. As for the age eligibility, your pet can enrol if it is eight weeks young and not older than nine years old. However, if you are looking for the Accidental injury cover only, there is no age limit.

Your cat also has an emergency boarding benefit and routine care. Alternative therapy is also an optional add-on, but the cruciate ligaments treatment is part of the inclusions, which has a capping of $2,600 per year.

For the Indoor Cat Cover, it only covers illnesses. There is an annual benefit limit of $5,000 with a reimbursement rate of up to 80% worth of vet expenses. Since the policy only covers illnesses, your cat gets entitled with consultations and vet visits worth $300 per anum, along with the emergency boarding benefit of $1,000 annually.

The Vet Select Cover for dogs has the highest coverage among the other insurance policies for dogs and puppies. With the cover, your pet gets a yearly limit of $25,000, along with a reimbursement of up to 100%. Your dogs also get the accidental injury and illnesses benefit along with vet visits and consultations, free of charge. The options routine care and alternative therapy is also part of the inclusions for the Vet Select for dogs.

The cruciate ligaments treatment benefit, capped at $4,000 per anum, is also part of the inclusions for the Vet Select for dogs. Furthermore, emergency boarding benefit, capped at $500 yearly, is part of the additions.

There is also an Accidental only or both Accidental injury and illness coverage for dogs. With the policy, your dog can avail the annual limit of $10,000 with a reimbursement rate of up to 80%. The entry age limit for the plan is six months to nine years old, depending on the policy.

Just like the Vet Select, the accidental only or both unintentional injury and illness cover has an emergency boarding benefit and cruciate ligament treatment along with consultations and vet visits capped at $300 yearly.

The last policy is the Puppy Cover, which gives your cute little furball an annual limit of $8,000 to $10,000 with a reimbursement rate of up to 80%. The age eligibility for this policy is from eight weeks to below six months.

What we like about the policies of Petsy is the specificity for every pet, either cat or dog. Since cats, dogs, and puppies have different needs, there should be a specific insurance plan for them. But you must understand that although these policies give particular details, you should still read and understand the terms and conditions of the program to ensure that your pet gets the best plan.
