Knose pet insurance

I have been very happy with the level said service and support from Knose. They are very reasonable with their response time and payment of your claim. Knose are accessible by phone and their staff are always helpful. Knose provides a fantastic service to pet owners. The policy has great cover and a reasonable price.

Honestly have had great experiences with these guys. There is sometimes a bit of a wait between the claim and the payment, but they’re quite communicative about it and give updates when the claim has started to be processed etc. I have two dogs – one of them has had various issues and surgeries and she has never once been knocked back for a claim (aside from when I’ve mistakenly tried to claim for a consultation or vaccination, which they are not covered for – fair, imo). They also have left little notes on the claims that make it clear that there is a real person reading them – the latest one, which prompted me to leave this review, was on a claim for my dog’s second TPLO surgery, (effectively, “poor girl, her other leg! hope she’s feeling better”). It’s a tiny thing but it makes me feel better to know that there is a real person involved there.

I’ve never had issues getting money off of them and have never been asked for any additional justification or documentation. The lack of gap pay is a bit annoying but my vet puts the claim through directly to them for me (apparently they have a good relationship with each other) and it’s very hassle-free on my end.

I chose this provider after a bunch of research because it was one of the only ones that was not (at the time) owned by one of the other ones. I’m covered for 80%, not including dental. It’s a good plan and I appreciate that the exclusions are so easy to understand. I’ve been with them for ~3 years now.

Knose has provided lifechanging assistance to our family, and have earned our loyalty for life. They have promptly and efficiently covered life saving and expensive care for our dog, and ensured we could focus on saving her life, rather than worrying about the costs. I cannot recommend Knose more.

This is the first review I’ve written. Knose has exceeded my expectations and been responsive and emphatic, especially as my Kitten has had health complications during the year. Their customer service staff are excellent and they promptly review and process claims. I highly recommend them.

My Labrador Wink who is nine years old was recently diagnosed with leukaemia, She didn’t really show many symptoms and my vet picked it up at a yearly health check. I have had to make quite a few claims for blood test, MRI scans, and medications over the past weeks. The couple of times I have had to ring Knose the staff have been kind caring and attentive, my claims have been sorted and paid promptly, couldn’t ask for a better service. As for Wink she is getting a better blood count and I hope I can get a bit more time with her, hate to think of my life without her. I have been with Knose for four years now and they have been outstanding. Like all insurances it helps in a crisis, at least now I can afford to provide my girl with the help she needs.

Our beautiful little baby dachshund seems to love eating everything but the food we put in her bowl! We have had 2 trips to emergency vet in her first 6 months of life and Knose has been there for us both times. Considering we are new clients and her first stint was at 3 months I am overwhelmed with their support and coverage. It was such an easy process to claim and such a relief to know we could fix our little girl without financial burden. I recently made the decision to purchase vet insurance and within 3 weeks unfortunately had to use it. Our Jack Russell X Terrier pup decided to go after a car and came off far worse. She had substantial surgery and was at three vets over a week. the decision to take vet insurance out with Knose was a very wise one which helped substantially with the final cost and the process of claim and receiving the funds was seamless. Our only issue now is keeping our sweet pup quiet as she heals.
