Petsy pet insurance

Went through a really scary and stressful time at the emergency vet for my cat, which quickly racked up thousands of dollars with overnights. Doing the actual claim was comically easy – I had prepared a 1-hour block to do a bunch of forms, but it was simple and took me 5 minutes. They also kept me in the loop as to how the claim was progressing and followed up with the vet, all from their end, while I focused on taking care of my cat. I am genuinely so grateful towards Petsy who accepted the claim with no issues, and anything that wasn’t covered was clearly stated and explained, which was all reasonable. They seem to really be more than an insurance company, and it’s refreshing to see the humanness in a company that helps people not worry about money during an already stressful time. I’ve had to make decisions for my furry family members based on my financial capacity in the past, which is an awful feeling. I could not have been more thankful that I could just help my cat get back to her usual healthy, loving self. Would recommend to anyone and everyone with a pet!

Petsy don’t have a gap cover, however their process is very simple. Once paid, The vet can send the information directly to an email address OR after receiving the invoice you can process it via the portal/send to an email. I was updated multiple times during the week with what stage I was at, what was being done and what I needed to do (nothing in my case as they had contract the vet for additional info). Very happy with the results and the team was very caring along the way.

I have been with Petsy for about 7months, this was my first claim and it was very easy. It took about week for the claim to be resolved, however the delay was with Petsy waiting for the vet to send information. Pet insurance should be a no brainer. Even as indoor cats they manage to find quirky ways to be menaces. This one claim saved me about 6 yrs worth of the insurance.

My dog has been covered by Petsy for almost 3 years. Recently he needed surgery to correct his rear kneecaps and alignment problems. His dew claws were also removed as he was catching them on things. I’m covered for 90% of costs, with a $500 excess fee. I put in a claim which was covered without any issues. A few days after surgery my dog became unwell and needed a veterinary appointment. All sorted, we left with medication costing $215, I couldn’t work out if these would be covered. I put in a claim, the total amount was covered. I was relieved and pleased. Along the process Pesty kept me informed, which was great

I really don’t trust insurance companies these days, regardless of what I am insuring. However, Petsy has restored my faith in that they are doing the right thing by who they are insuring. In our case, that is our 6-month old puppy, Cino, who has severe elbow and hip dysplasia. Thank you Petsy. You’re awesome.

covers 80% of my both my cats vet bills. Claims are easy and simple to use and get processed within hours. Excellent and always replies to my emails. Would recommend giving them your pets medical history and vet details before making your first claim, otherwise you will have to wait for them to do this when you put your first claim in which takes a lot more time.

Thank you so much for the customer service, It was really helpful. I needed to cancel the policy for now because I am no longer be able to bring the puppy home. However, will definitely choose Petsy again for my future puppy.

Petsy have given me so much peace of mind when it comes to our kitten going to the vet. Affordable pet insurance and really easy to get a quote and set it all up. They were upfront about everything covered in the policy and explained how all the pre-existing conditions assessment worked and answered all my questions when I needed further clarification. Once that assessment was all completed, processing of claims have been super speedy with most of my claims being completed same day or next day.
