Like many good stories, Pet Circle's began with a man, and his dog. One day Mike noticed that his dad had stopped buying their family's very handsome golden retriever - George - his favourite thing: big, 15 kilogram bags of delicious food, after injuring his back! After a bit of thought, Mike realised that his dad wasn't the only person out there who found the process of driving to the pet store, picking up a huge bag of dog food, and hauling it home to be difficult and time-consuming. So, he thought of a way to tackle the problem. And so, Pet Circle was born - with the aim of helping people care for their pets by making purchasing pet products as simple as possible.

Not happy at all.
Not happy at all.Took long time since I send claim. I had to call several time to get the answer about my claim. It took nearly one month to answer and finally was rejected.

Considering changing provider.
I don’t feel like this is a good value insurance policy. It is problematic as my vet can not send claims directly to the Pet Circle Insurance portal, which I understand should actually be a normal thing for your vet to do. Additionally it always seems that they won’t pay out on any vet appointments, so I’m not sure that it is worth it. Considering changing provider.
Considering the premiums paid, I would have expected better customer service.
Came into my first claim with very positive impressions of this insurer, thinking my pets would be in safe hands. My first and last claim changed that completely. The Claim process was extremely slow and the team did not provide transparency when assessing the claim or gathering information. Multiple follow-up emails were ignored over the span of over three weeks, before having to reach out myself directly via phone for an update. While it is understandable to have the odd delay, it is more important to communicate this clearly and in a timely manner to keep customers in the loop and feeling valued. For a worried pet parent, indefinite waiting is not a light feeling. A simple reply of receipt/acknowledgment is not only courtesy, but would have made the difference, and would have taken very little time. This came across as deeply unprofessional and distasteful.
Considering the premiums paid, I would have expected better customer service. I will be thinking twice next time and have taken my fur babies to another insurer. It is a shame as the parent company is always great and responsive.

Only just taken out insurance so no available history to comment on. However when talking to Louise about aspects of the policy application I was very happy with her response and help.

I feel though that Pet Circle Insurance have redeemed themselves after I raised a complaint, which was dealt with in a very sincere, caring and prompt manner. I was initially going to change insurers, but will be staying with Pet Circle for now (and will hopefully never need to make another claim)

Customer Service is excellent. 1st claim submitted took 15 days to resolve. I waited knowing with the 1st claim they do a pre-existing assessment, but I initially thought 2 weeks was excessive, since the problem was an bite from another cat (no pre-existing there). Once I spoke with Customer Service and found out the trouble was on the VET end (Vet said they had no record of Ruby ‘Smith’, because Ruby was listed as Ruby Atkins, my husband’s last name). Pet Circle resolved it very quickly. Lesson learn – make sure the last name of your pet at the VET matches the last name on the Policy. The only down side was they didn’t contact me to tell me the VET said they did not have my cat on record. Upside – my 2nd claim was settled in 1 day. Again Excellent Customer Service.

I have no hesitation in recommending Pet Circle insurance.
I’ve had to claim twice on my insurance and both times the claim process was super smooth and easy. The first time I had to give previous vet details so they could get my pets history, the second time I only had to upload the vet receipts and the claim was paid out the next day. So much of a stress reliever! Great premium price as well so I have no hesitation in recommending Pet Circle insurance.

The policy pays 75% of claims. I have been with them for 2.5 years. I have only made one claim to date. The insurance service was very efficient & the Uni Vet team submitted Bonnie’s claim for me so very hassle free. The Insurance team communicated with me via email all steps until the claim was paid.
